Ash Tree Stables
Welcome To The Ash Tree Stables at Holton Lee near Poole in Dorset, a riding and carriage driving centre for the disabled.
Situated on a unique and diverse site with 350 acres of different habitats of woodland, reedbed, heathland, and saltmarsh overlooking the shores of Poole Harbour the stables are an integral part of Holten Lee, an independant charitable organisation dedicated to empowering and resourcing people, particularly carers and disabled people through creativity, environmental awareness, personal growth and spirituality.
This is just one volunteer helper's view of everyday life at the stables.
I hope that other helpers or riders and drivers might share their experiences here in this blog.
