While the horses enjoy their feed all their 'pooh' from the night is collected off the field and stored in heaps outside their grazing area. This keeps pastures clean and reduces the risk of worms. Doing this daily enables Wally to monitor the health of his charges. (Wally in centre)

I retired from a lifetime of livestock farming in 2001. I did enjoy a few forays into various other occupations such as the building industry and hospital work during travels back to Kenya, where I grew up, and Australia before settling down in England in 1969.
