Welcome "Elfin"!

Meet "Elfin"

We have a lodger at Ashtree Stables. "Diverse Abilities" (formerly Dorset Scope) recently purchased a miniature Shetland mare for use by all its members for therapy and for learning all about horse care. The people of Barnabas will be taking care of her every day, taking her for walks, cleaning up after her and grooming her. They will soon be using the Holton Lee pavilion as a day centre where she will go to meet groups that come to the centre, since the Pottery, "Working in Clay" will be moving their operation down to Studio One near the Horticultural area.

Elfin is an enchanting attraction/distraction in our yard, popular with all, especially Marmite and Maggie.

Elfin stands 28 inches, that's 7 hands compared to Marmite's 15.2 hands, but that doesn't seem to bother Elfin! She gets plenty of attention all round.
