On Saturday 15th Sept Tina (of Douglas Jackman House) brought a group of members of the Mid Dorset Mencap branch to the stables to present us with a cheque for £200 which they had raised for us. Wow! What a generous donation.

The overheads for running the East Holton Driving Centre are quite considerable and this money will go a long way to defraying the various costs of RDA membership, insurances, shoeing and vet bills. It was with some reluctance that we decided at our AGM in June that we had to increase our fees for carrige drives to £15 per half hour.

The sun shone and, with the willing help of our volunteers who gave up a morning of their weekend, we gave all our visitors drives with Marmite in the 4-wheeler round the estate to celebrate.
A very big thankyou to Mid Dorset Mencap group!!
